Lisbon, Portugal

Barbados

we had some crazy (left side) driving experiences (A may or may not have forgotten a few times)...

...a few epic sunsets (but Cape Cod still holds the award for overall best sunset)...

...a couple killer rainbows...

...deserted beaches..

...spectacular views all around...

...with no people in sight. Just our kind of vacation.

Lucky us, we also got to see a few octopus, hawksbill turtles, lizards, and a monkey.

We stayed on the East Side of Barbados in St. Andrew - no swimming zone! Thankfully for us, it was also the desolate side - no swimming, but no tourists either! Since we had just visited T&C, we wanted a different kind of vacation -- from resort in T&C to rugged and raw in Barbados. We just loved it... and might be back!

New England Winters

blizzards
followed by blue skies
icicles
and bright red cardinals

just love it

lucky for us, we'll be getting a few more inches tonight and another blizzard on monday.

Chapin's Beach

It was so cloudy when we showed up at Chapin's and we were still so very impressed with the low tide. I read that it was amazing, so decided to drive up there. No one in our crew thought it would be THIS impressive. It would on forever. It felt so raw, desolate, untouched, lonely. We had to walk and walk and walk to find water.

It slowly started to clear, then BOOM. Look what we got. A stunning sunset... and lots and lots of water! Had to hurry back in for the tide.
